Andrés García
Professional specialized in public affairs, economic regulation and corporate transactions, with experience in analyzing complex regulatory environments and their impact on business strategy. He currently serves as Deputy Director in the Economics and Finance area at Acento Public Affairs in Madrid, where he advises national and international clients on regulatory strategy, institutional relations and public positioning in highly regulated sectors.
At H/Advisors, he contributes to the design and implementation of institutional engagement strategies with national and European public authorities in financial and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on banking, capital markets and corporate operations. His work combines public policy and regulatory impact analysis with the development of advocacy and institutional positioning strategies for companies operating in complex regulatory environments. He is also involved in projects related to corporate transactions and maintains regular interaction with key regulators, including the CNMC, the CNMV and the Bank of Spain.
Prior to joining H/Advisors, he worked as a Senior Consultant in the Strategy and Transactions practice at KPMG, where he participated in financial due diligence processes in buy-side and sell-side transactions for industrial clients and private equity funds across several sectors. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Senior Auditor at EY and at the Bank of Spain in the Market Conduct Department.
He holds a double degree in Business Administration and Law from Complutense University of Madrid and has completed postgraduate studies in finance and auditing. He is currently pursuing a specialized master’s degree in Regulated Sectors Law, focused on areas such as energy, telecommunications, transport and banking.
