Javier Ramírez

Experienced senior executive and consultant with 35 years of expertise in public affairs, corporate reputation, communication, strategy, digital transformation, and consulting across Spain, Europe, and the Americas. His career spans multinational corporations and consulting firms, specializing in media, public affairs, tourism, energy, sustainability and corporate reputation.
Currently, he is the Director of the Energy, Industry, and Sustainability Department at Acento, where he leads strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy for key players in the energy and industrial sectors.

Previously, he was Deputy General Manager and Director of the NITID Institute at NITID Corporate Affairs, leading public affairs and corporate reputation projects for IBEX 35 and multinational clients. Under his leadership, NITID was named the best firm in its sector since 2021 by PR SCOPE.

Between 2017 and 2018, he was Director of Strategy and Planning at Paradores, a state-owned hospitality company, where he led strategic projects, digital transformation and corporate communication, while developing international tourism franchises.
From 2014 to 2016, as Managing Director at Potentium, he specialized in public affairs, corporate reputation and business intelligence for the energy sector in Latin America and Iberia, engaging with international and domestic stakeholders.

Between 2007 and 2014, he was Director at Innovation Media Consulting Group, a global media advisory leader, managing projects in more than 20 countries and overseeing business transformation and commercial strategies in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America.
Earlier, he founded and served as CEO of Littmann Kulturprojekte, a company focused on cultural management, marketing and communication strategies for public and private institutions.

His extensive background in media, public affairs and corporate communication is rooted in his tenure at Recoletos Communication Group (Financial Times Group) from 1987 to 2005. As International Managing Director, he led the expansion in Portugal, Latin America, and the U.S. Hispanic market, overseeing 44 million in annual revenue and leading acquisitions and restructuring of El Cronista Comercial (Argentina), Diario Financiero (Chile), and Económica (Portugal), securing their market leadership. He also spearheaded the launch of Rumbo, a Texas-based media network targeting the Hispanic population.
