Miquel Gamisans

With an outstanding career in the political and business spheres in Catalonia, he was one of the people responsible for communication in the Vinaròs Process, which led to the formation of the Candidatura d’Unitat Popular (CUP). He was the first Communications Director of Òmnium Cultural, a Catalan cultural association created to promote the Catalan language and culture. He was also the press officer for Joan Puigcercós, who was president of Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC) in the Spanish Parliament, coinciding with the processing of the Statute of Catalonia (2004-2007).

In 2016, with the help of ERC, he was appointed Secretary of Communication of the Government of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Later, in 2018, he held the post of Secretary of Dissemination and Citizen Services, being in charge of the advertising campaigns of the Government of Catalonia and citizen services.

Graduate in Journalism from the Ramon Llull University. He later studied Political Communication at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Strategic Communication Management at ESADE, and an MBA and Master’s in Cybersecurity.

He subsequently built a career in the business world, in the communications sector, participating in the founding of the agency Catmèdia and, later, Zip Zap Social PR, where he took part in various economic and electoral campaigns. His collaborations include the campaigns of Oriol Junqueras, president of ERC, for the European Parliament, as well as others at the local level. In 2021, he returned to the business world, joining the public affairs consultancy H/Advisors as director in Barcelona.
