Raquel Herrera
Graduate in law from the UNED. There, she not only acquired solid legal knowledge but also developed the discipline characteristic of those who balance work and study. Determined to broaden her expertise, she later earned an official Master’s degree in Corporate Legal Advice from the International University of La Rioja, believing that multidisciplinary knowledge would be key to her professional development.
Her career began to take shape within the Popular Party (Partido Popular), where between 2011 and 2015 she held roles in the Secretariat of Organization and Electoral Affairs and the Secretariat of Communication. Her work in these areas allowed her to gain experience in strategic planning and political campaign management. Raquel was actively involved with the campaign director during the 2014 European elections and the 2015 municipal and regional elections, navigating the intensity and complexity of electoral processes, where precision and quick decision-making are vital.
In 2015, Raquel embraced a new professional challenge by joining the Management Council of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the Spanish Congress of Deputies, where she worked until 2019. During this period, she performed duties in the Treasury Department and coordinated commissions within the Economic Area, contributing to the financial and administrative management of the organization. This experience further enhanced her analytical and leadership skills, as she was entrusted with overseeing resources and processes in a high-pressure, high-visibility environment.
Her transition to the private sector materialized with her appointment at H/Advisors, where she currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and Administration. In this capacity, she has successfully applied her public administration expertise to the corporate sphere. At Acento, Raquel spearheads initiatives focused on process optimization, strategic talent management, and the cultivation of a work environment that fosters employee development and well-being. Her integrative vision and pragmatic, empathetic approach to challenges have made her a key figure within the organization.
